His DD is recharged and he has about 16 friendly carriers repping him and there are not that many blues on the grid (or ones I can see at least) so unless someone is about to pull a ton of caps out and drop them on him I would say it aint happening tonight.

No it has never been anything like that high - I see 420 atm and this is as high as it has been as far as I am aware.

It is kind of ridiculous though that the DD weapon still works in this situation where the majority of people in the system cannot even move or see anything.
Just another reason why titans are such a bad idea in this game.

Shrike is about to mashed in the garbage compactor in 49.
Shrike Skywalker: "shut down all the gates in 49- will ya, shut down all the gates in 490 will ya"
CCP-30 "no, no R2 shut the node down shut the node down, hurry"
R2-D2: "(Beeping and whistling)"
CCP-3O: "Oh no."
R2-D2: "(Beeping and whistling)"
Shrike Skywalker: "What? (Indistinct yelling and screaming for joy)"
CCP-3O: "Listen to them! They're dying, R2. Curse my metal body! I wasn't fast enough. It's all my fault! My poor master!"

Yes, Titans are bad idea. There should be no way to prevent 600 people from blobing and braking the game.  
You dont think that its wrong that in a situation where people are lagged out and cannot move or even see whats on the screen that someone should be able to click one button and fry a whole fleet?
